The law enforcers have arrested a total of 74 people from eight upazilas of Satkhira from Friday evening to Saturday morning.
Police claimed that the arrestees were accused in different cases.
Of them, 19 were arrested from Sadar upazila, 24 from Kolaroa upazila while the others from Kaliganj,Ahsashuni,Patkelghata, Debhata, Shamnagar and Tala upazilas, said Azam Khan, Inspector of Special Branch of Satkhira district.
