Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda today said no one will be allowed to telecast live from the voting booths, but media can telecast live from the corridor or premises of the polling stations.
“No one can use mobile phones inside the voting booth as well,” Huda said at a press briefing at the Election Commission this afternoon.
Requesting journalists to enter the polling stations in limited numbers, the CEC said the above instructions were given so that the presiding officers can discharge their duties properly.
