Jatiya Oikyafront wants to hold a rally in Dhaka on December 28 and are supposed to sit with the Election Commission on this note on Tuesday.
Dr Kamal Hossain, Oikyafront’s key leader, and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be visiting the commission office on Tuesday.
Two leaders might also bring up other issues during the visit, a source confirmed.
The move has been made by the party while the commission is emphasizing on curbing public meetings across the country inside a week of the election.
