Jatiya Party general secretary ABM Ruhul Amin Howlader's nomination papers were canceled on charges of defaulting on loan.
Selection was held on Sunday at 4pm on the Deputy Commissioner's Court. After the selection, the Returning Officer announced the cancellation of the nomination papers. Matiul Islam Chowdhury.
Ruhul Amin Hawladar took the nomination papers for Patuakhali-1 (Sadar, Mirzaganj and Dumki Upazila) constituencies.
District Returning Officer Matiul Islam Chowdhury said that his nomination papers were canceled due to social Islami Bank's Gulshan branch in Dhaka. But he will be able to appeal to the Election Commission within three days.
