Student's suicide can not be admitted to Barisal University


Police recovered the body of a college girl named Antonnahar Mim (19) from Sugandha river in Jhalakathi on 5 days after the disappearance. On Monday evening, his body was found floating in Drappia old Ferryighat area of the upazila. Her family said that she could not pass the admission test at Barisal University and she committed suicide by jumping in the river. Mim Barisal Women's College passed the HSC examinations.
Police said that the bodies of a young man were found floating in the Sugandha River in the old ferry area of Dadpapiya on the night. Police recovered the dead body. The relatives came to know about the body and identified the body. Mr. Mame's father, Shah Alam Miji, served as the Field Officer of the National Investigation Agency (NSI) in Barisal. He said Mim was unable to participate in the admission test at Barisal University. His mentality was bad in this. On the evening of November 28, he left the rented house in Barisal Chandmari area. Since then, he remains missing. He himself committed suicide by jumping in the river, claiming that no one killed him, the father of the deceased claimed.
