Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and grandson of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has urged Bangladeshis to take an oath not to vote for BNP-Oikyafront and their war criminal alliances.
In a Facebook post from his verified profile on Sunday, Joy asked everyone to vote for Awami League, the pro-liberation party, on Victory Day.
“A vote for Paddy Sheaf is a vote for those that murdered 3 million of our countrymen,” he said.
“I can never forget how many years ago Bangladesh became independent. I was born in the middle of our War of Liberation. Bangladesh and I are the same age,” Joy wrote in his status.
Joy has earlier commented on political issues as well.
In previous posts, the PM’s son had criticized BNP for lining with certified war criminals and condemned their nationwide violence during the 2014 polls.
On Sunday, Joy ended his post by writing, “Joy Bangla! Joy Bangabandhu!”
