Expressing concern over the current situation in the Middle East, Guterres said, "We are really very concerned. I hope we will not see any further deterioration in the situation. It is necessary to ensure that there is no war in the Middle East. "

The United Nations Secretary-General said that there are intimate contacts with leaders of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and the Middle East, and it is not right to create new conflicts in the conflict zone.
