Former military ruler HM Ershad-led Jatiya Party will announce its role in the 11th parliament tomorrow.
The party has independently secured 22 constituencies in December 30 polls. On the other hand, the same party is also included in ruling Awami League-led Grand Alliance.
“The decision on whether JaPa will remain in the Grand Alliance and what will be their role in the parliament will be announced tomorrow (Thursday),” said the party Secretary General Moshiur Rahman Ranga while talking to reporters after a meeting of the party in Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
Earlier on Tuesday, the JaPa leader said they expected expected to win more than 22 seats in the election.
The Awami League-led Grand Alliance secured a landslide victory in the national election held on Sunday, December 30, winning in 288 out of 300 seats in the Jatiya Sangsad.
