Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, who has taken office after the new Cabinet was formed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said the main challenge of her ministry is to tackle the existing problem of question leakage in public examinations.
The minister said this on Tuesday while talking to reporters after joining office at the Secretariat for the first time after taking the oath as minister.
“People have elected the government by casting their votes for Awami League with some expectations. We’ll try our best to fulfil them and the government will do whatever is necessary,” she said adding that everyone must work together to this end.
Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina took office for an unprecedented fourth time along with 46 cabinet ministers on Monday following the ruling party’s absolute majority victory in the 11th national election on December 30.
Apart from the Prime Minister, there are 24 ministers, 19 state ministers and three deputy ministers in the new cabinet.
Of the 47-member cabinet, 27 are new faces with the aim to bring dynamic changes in the administration.
