Vitamin-A Plus campaign postponed

The government has postponed the National Vitamin-A Plus campaign scheduled for Saturday.
The National Vitamin-A Plus campaign has been postponed for ‘unavoidable’ reasons, said the Institute of Public Health Nutrition in a press release issued on Thursday.
The new date for the campaign will be announced later, the institute said.
The campaign was scheduled to be held across the country on Saturday to feed Vitamin A plus capsules to all children aged from six months to 59 months.
Children, aged between six and 11 months, are given the blue-coloured high-powered Vitamin A capsules while those, aged between 12 to 59 months, receive the red-coloured ones during the campaign.
