Bangladesh Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday paid tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of AL’s victory in the 11th general election.
The prime minister paid the homage by placing wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi in the city.
After placing the wreaths, Hasina stood in solemn silence for few seconds to show respect to the memory of Bangabandhu.
After that, Hasina also placed another wreath at Bangabandhu’s portrait as the party chief.
Bangabandhu’s younger daughter Sheikh Rehana and Sheikh Hasina’s daughter Saima Hossain Putul were also present there.
