Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has re-appointed her five advisors who served her in the previous tenure.
HT Imam, Mashiur Rahman, Gowher Rizvi, Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury and Tarique Ahmed Siddique have been retained as advisers to the Bangladesh Premier, said a gazette issued by the Cabinet Division on Monday.
The Cabinet Division issued the orders on Monday, a week after the new ministers took oath.

The advisers to the prime minister have the same status of minister and get the same salaries and allowances.
Their appointment has been effective since January 7, according to cabinet division.
HT Imam has been re-appointed as the political advisor to the prime minister and he had co-chaired Awami League’s election committee before the December 30 election.
Mashiur Rahman will advise the premier on economic affairs, Gowher on international affairs, and Tawfiq on power, energy and mineral resources while retired Major General Tarique on state security.
