Jatiya Party Co-Chairman Golam Mohammad Quader (GM Quader) Deputy Leader of the Parliament and party Secretary General Moshiur Rahman Ranga was nominated as Leader Chief Whip in Eleventh Parliament.
On Saturday morning, Jatiya Party chairman HM Ershad has formally submitted a letter to the Speaker of the Parliament, Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury. In the letter, he requested the Speaker to take necessary measures.
In the letter to the Speaker, Ershad wrote, "Jatiya Party will serve as the main opposition party in the Eleventh Parliament. As the President of the Jatiya Party Parliamentary Party, I was nominated as Chief Whip of the main opposition party and party's Co-Chairman Golam Mohammad Kader, party's Secretary General Moshiur Rahman Ranga was elected as the Chief Whip of the opposition.
